TOUR NOTES

WAIT! I THOUGHT THERE WERE VIDEOS WITHIN THE BOOK(s)?

You can put videos inside your book and in the WATCH section. Personally, I chose to shoot two types of video for The Elements Club. One set are videos used within a specific romance segment, and they are only for paying consumers. The other set of videos I shot develop the story as a whole and are used as free promotion.

If you choose to shoot video, you have to decide what content you want shared vs. what you reserve for paying fans. The platform will allow you both options.

ARE VIDEOS HOSTED ON YOUTUBE?

All videos will be housed on the Transmedia Story Stream server, NOT YouTube. I am only using YouTube in the Demo mockup.  And in case you wondered why your videos have to be housed on the platform, to be able to track and reward what a fan does with your content, the media needs to be housed on a server the platform can access. I cannot access YouTube's servers. And yes, of course you can upload your videos to YouTube in addition to Transmedia Story Stream. However, YouTube will now own your audience and you will have lost the ability to reward your fans.
